Listen

Michelle has written and illustrated a children’s book encompassing the values of imagination, hand making, frugality, and being resourceful.

We start out talking about spending time in cemeteries as a child and different cultures. Then, Michelle continues to open up about her life, being a lifelong artist, and her first experience with fine art. She tells us about the journey art has taken her on, and how art combined with being a mother and raising her own family has all culminated in her recent project - writing, illustrating, and starting the process of publishing a children’s book.

From this episode, you’ll get inspiration to be creative, inspiration to start that project you’ve been meaning to do while incorporating your true passions, and you’ll receive a thoughtful perspective to consider about our consumer-driven culture.
